An unframed Chinese style watercolor landscape by Teresa Clark (American, 1904-2004). Artist signature and stamp in the bottom right corner.Teresa Clark was born 1904 in the United States with a consistent appreciation for artists and their work throughout her life. This admiration would turn into her own practice of the craft in 1966 after moving to Rossmoor, Walnut Creek, CA. There she enrolled in Acalanes High School Adult Education School to study oils with Olga Grimes and watercolor with Richard Yip. In 1968 guest professor Lui-Sang Wong gave the class a lecture in Chinese brush painting, which Clark pinpoints as the deciding factor to switch from oils to the contemporary Chinese style.Dimensions: 15.5H x 23.5W inchesProcessing and shipping within the continental U.S. $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.
