Hand-coiled pottery jar of globular form with slightly flared rim, decorated in black and red mineral pigments on a buff ground. The exterior features geometric banding with stepped motifs, triangular panels, and intersecting linear elements encircling the body. The design layout and palette are consistent with traditional Pueblo pottery of the American Southwest, likely Zuni or Acoma in style. The surface shows visible wear and patina consistent with age and handling. Circa mid 20th Century. Rounded bottom. Sits upright after carefully initially holding to settle in place.

Surface wear throughout, including areas of abrasion and paint loss, particularly concentrated along the lower body. Scattered surface accretions and discoloration present. Interior shows darkening and residue consistent with age and use. No major cracks observed. Minor rim wear and small abrasions consistent with handling. Overall structurally sound.
