Unusual Model 1902 saber. Entirely made in the Philippines for ROTC and the Philippine Military Academy. This example was used for the ROTC program at Pontifical Royal University of Saint Tomas, Manila: the Catholic University of the Philippines. Note the DUI type insignia attached to the scabbard. The lief decoration on the scabbard is unique to these Philippine made sabers. Note: the knuckle guard ridge, a feature no longer found on post WWII US M1902's. The grip is water buffalo horn; another feature no longer used.

Dimensions: 30" blade x 38.25" long overall.

This lot may be picked up free of charge from our facilities in Sacramento, CA. Processing and shipping within the Continental US $60.00. All FedEx packages are sent with Direct Signature Required and insured at full replacement value for a fee of 1.5% of the purchase price, unless buyer accepts complete liability in writing. Condition

There was a personalized panel soldered to the scabbard which is now missing.
