A framed acrylic on gesso panel painting titled Coastal Seagulls by American artist Robert Reynolds (1936-2024). The image depicts a flock of seagulls sweeping across a warm-toned field before a rocky mountain formation with contrasting green and violet tones. It is signed by the artist in the bottom left corner and there is a label affixed verso noting the title and medium. The painting is housed in a traditional dark wood molded frame with cream linen liner.

Robert Reynolds was an American artist known for his pristine landscape paintings. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles and a Master of Arts from Cal Poly. Reynolds was an integral part of San Luis Obispo's cultural landscape, designing a county seal, a Hearst Castle stamp, and the Cal Poly floats for the Rose Parade for 14 years across his lifetime.

Overall good second-hand condition. Scattered surface wear spots visible on the painting, notably in the sky where the color is lightest. Overall the painting is stable and color retention strong. No wear or restoration revealed under blacklight. Minimal handling wear visible around the frame. Please see photos.
