Original Framed and Matted photograph of boxer ‘Battling’ Nelson. Also nicknamed ‘The Durable Dane,’ Nelson was known for his toughness and stamina and iron chin and that he was one of the most relentless and durable fighters of the 20th century, especially when he transitioned from the bare knuckle boxing to the gloved era. The matting states that he is champion lightweight of the world, which he held title of from 1908 to 1910
