Carved and painted advertising figure depicting a reclining Native American chief wearing a feathered headdress and holding a pipe, associated with Ohio Match Company cigar store advertising. Executed in carved wood or composition with hand-painted surface in brown, black, and flesh tones, with incised detailing throughout.

Underside pencil inscribed “From Mrs. Robertson to Mrs. G. Willis,” and pencil dated “1915.”
