Very handsome oak horizontal hat rack with copper and brass fittings and plate reading "CAPTAIN," from an old firehouse. It has four coat or shirt hooks, and a horizontal basket-like rack for other items, such as a fire helmet. The rack has a coppery finish, but is brass. The other mounts are brass. The oak may have been refinished at some point.
Size: 11 inches tall by 46 inches wide. The basket rack is 15 inches deep.
Excellent, although the metal has been polished, and the oak may be refinished.
