Exceptional oak chair for a musician with two adjustments, one for height, the other for the back support. The chair has a bronze plaque on the underside identifying it as being made by the North of England School Furniture Manufacturing Company in Darlington, Durham County England. The chair is beautifully functional, and resembles items from the American Arts & Crafts movement. The seat has a replaced leather pad with brass furniture tacks, and looks appropriate for the chair.
Size: 38 inches tall by 14 inches wide by 17 inches deep.
Condition
Excellent condition, although the seat pad has been replaced.
