Large Navajo blanket/rug with ten Swastika motifs. Swastikas were used by Navajo weavers and other Native American cultures as an ancient symbol of good fortune and harmony.  Also included in this lot is a vintage postcard that was consigned along with this blanket that explains the Navajo peoples' renunciation of the Swastika design during Word War II.
