He is in the traditional Austrian white dress uniform, and wears the Military Service Cross for Officers on his chest. He has sideburns and a mustache. The painting is well-executed with excellent detail on his uniform and his award. It is in a small gilt painted wooden frame. There is a label on the reverse with some details about the painting, as well as a small label on the frame from a previous sale of the item. Size: 5 by 4 3/4 inches.
