Early 20th century Mexico, Guerrero, large copper repousse mask depicting a bearded devil with real goat horns attached. Made in a very similar way and style to barbones (bearded old man) masks of the region. Said to serve varying functions such as being used in the "rain-petitioning dance," serving as Carnival masks, and being used to chase away Spaniards.
