Large German Ceremonial Coal Scuttle, Copper and Brass, ca. 1890. There is a coal sifter insert inside the bucket. Sitting inside this sifter are two extra brass adornment piece attachments. There are no obvious pieces visible where these extra pieces would attach. A German eagle sits atop the lid.
