Kriegsmarine (navy) Destroyer Badge maker marked "Schwerin, Berlin 68". The badge was instituted on 4 June 1940. Awarded to the crews of destroyers, additionaly it was awarded to s-boat crews before they got their own badge. Qualifications to get it were; being wounded in action, ship sunk in action, Participation in three enemy engagements or at least in 12 non-enemy sorties or outstanding performance or other heroic deeds in a single action. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S $30 plus a 1.5% insurance fee. Fine condition, some wear to gold and silver wash but largely intact.
