A lot containing the original drawing, artist’s plate, and artist’s proofs of Dwight D. Eisenhower’s portrait by John Lopes. This would go on to be used as a cover for the Sacramento Bee TV Magazine. Great. The drawing is taped against a piece of board to keep it stable. The board shows some wear around the edges but the drawing itself is great. The plates have dried ink residue on it, but no other wear is visible. Little to no wear visible on the proofs. Please see photos.
