A lot containing the artist’s plates and proofs of Duke Ellington’s portrait by John Lopes. This would go on to be used as a cover for the Sacramento Bee TV Magazine. Great. The plates have dried ink residue on it, but no other wear is visible. One of the proofs is mounted to a board and has wear on it from production processing. The second proof is laminated in good condition. The rest are stored in a sleeve. Please see photos.
