German Bavarian 13th Infantry Regiment Military Stein

German military stein of the Royal 13th Infantry Battalion Ingolstadt to Victor Sonruezer, with service from 1900 - 1902. The body has a stand of arms centered on a Bavarian coat of arms, below the Bavarian motto, "In Treue Fest," At the bottom of the trophy or arms is a 13th Regiment shoulder tab, Around the center are pictures of the Regiment at rest and in action, including one of men on horseback. There is a cityscape of Ingolstadt at the top of the pictures. There are a number of hand-painted details. There is a lithopane of a uniformed man, either the Colonel of the Regiment, or possibly the King of Bavaria. The handle is smooth on the inside, with a pewter hinge topped with a crowned Bavarian lion and shield. The pewter lid is topped with a round finial with a spiked helmet on top.
