A very fine 19th century aneroid stick barometer on a mahogany base with brass fittings and celluloid plate at the top with the readings engrved on it. It was made by G. Scott, who was perhaps the most renowned British manufacturer of scientific instruments in the 19th century, with shops in England and Scotland.
Size: 37 inches long and 4 inches wide.
Condition
Excellent. The celluloid plaque is slightly cracked at the screw holes.
