A French Model 1873 Chamelot-Delvigne Service revolver, as produced for enlisted men, and in use though WWII. This is the basic enlisted version of this fine revolver which was produced in the white and issued through the French colonial wars of the late 1800s, through WWI, and even into WWII, where it was the issue revolver of most French reserve units, as well as being popular in the French Resistance. It is in 11 mm., and is serial number H17136 on all parts, manufactured in 1880. Size: 10 1/2 inches long overall, with a 4 1/2 inch barrel. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $35.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.

Condition

Very good plus condition, although there is light surface rust on some of the original white metal finish. The markings are very clear, and the gun has an excellent action. The bore is dirty but retains good rifling.
