A very fine French made "Fusil Special" 16 gauge double barreled outside hammer shotgun, circa 1890, with back action locks, engraving on the breech and lock plates, finely checkered stock at the straight wrist and on the forend, and sling mounts on the barrels and butt stock. The words Fusil Special are filled with gold. The barrels retain most of their original deep charcoal bluing. Size: 44 inches long overall with 27 inch barrels.
