Two printed reward broadsides relating to the Missouri Pacific Railroad train robbery near Coffeyville, Kansas, March 23, 1911, comprising:

 

  • A “Train Robbery” broadside offering a $2,000 reward by the United States Government for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the robbers of Missouri Pacific R.R. Train No. 104, including detailed physical descriptions and list of stolen property.
  • A companion $1,000 reward broadside for Elmer J. McUardy, wanted for complicity in the robbery, featuring portrait photographs and descriptive text.

Both with period ink stamps from the Office Chief of Police, San Francisco, dated April and May 1911, and signed in print by Joe P. Johnston, Post Office Inspector in Charge, Kansas City, Missouri.

Black ink on paper, presented together under glass with gilt liner in a molded wood frame.
