Framed advertising calendar print featuring Contentment, designed and painted by Maxfield Parrish (American, 1870–1966), dated 1928. The central image depicts two idealized figures seated on a rocky outcrop in a stylized landscape, rendered in Parrish’s characteristic luminous palette.

The upper register includes Edison Mazda Lamps branding, while the lower section is overprinted for Shasta Electric Company, Contractors-Dealers, Redding, California, with address and telephone information. The bottom panel retains the printed date “1928 Designed and Painted by Maxfield Parrish.”

The print is mounted within a decorative mat and housed in a gilt-finished molded frame. Likely issued as a promotional calendar piece, now preserved as a framed display.
