Outstanding, well made and handsome mahogany lingerie chest in the Federal style with 6 drawers. The front of each drawer folds down for easy access, and to prevent snags.The drawers are also mahogany, hand dovetailed in the rear. It stands on four legs that are handsomely made, and there are lighter wood inlays on the top, legs, and drawers. The chest probably dates from the 1920s.
Size: 40 inches tall by 21 inches wide by 14 1/2 inches deep.
