A large Hires Root Beer advertising piece. Oak barrel-form beverage dispenser with metal banding and fitted spigot, retaining a painted diamond-form advertising panel reading “Drink Hires It Is Pure.” The staved wood body bound with polished metal hoops; fitted with a metal tap and lever mechanism. Circular wood lid to top. Raised on metal claw feet.
Metal manufacturer’s plaque to side (surface wear obscures portions of text).
