Framed Edward Curtis ‘Ga’askidi - Navaho.’ Photogravure on Tissue, 1904. Print Date 1904. Printed on Japanese Gampi Tissue Paper. Out of the ‘Vol 1, The Apaches, The Jicarillas, The Navaho, or the North American Indian’ Series. Curtis Description, “Thisis the personation of the Navaho god of harvest, the name signifies hunchback. He is represented always in a stooping posture, carrying a staff to aid him and supporting a burden of corn, bean, pumpkin, and other seeds he carries upon his back. The personation is conventional, rather than literal, in intent. Dimensions: ( Framed) 19”h x 15”w; (Photogravure on Tissue) 8.25”h x 6”w Processing and shipping within the Continental US $45.
