Early brass lantern clock, possibly English, circa 1650, with Roman Numeral face with iron hands, one of which is broken. It operates through a pendulum and a series of two weights with pullies. The works are intact, but it is not currently functioning. It rests on a wooden wall stand that allows the pendulum and weights to hand free.
Size: the brass case is 14 inches tall. The pendulum is 27 inches long.
Condition
One hand is broken off at the mid point. The clock is not working. The clock is externally in very good condition.
