An early 20th-century French art nouveau style double-faced glass sign advertising Bistrot Les Halles (The Market Halls). The design features a Belle Epoque style nude female figure with the market name sweeping diagonally across, framed by stylized parallel lines. The glass panel is housed in a rounded rectangular metal frame with a brass finish and suspension chains. There is also old cut wiring at the top, suggesting it originally may have illuminated around the sides.
Dimensions: 4-feet tall, about 2.5-feet wide

Condition
Fair to Good antique condition. The frame is structurally sturdy with age appropriate handling wear visible across. However there is a vertical crack right down the middle of the glass panel, cutting through the figure's body and the wording. No further damage or restoration revealed under blacklight. Please see photos.
