An early 20th-century brass spittoon. It is plain around, but marked on the underside, "Albert Pick & Company, Chicago." Albert Pick & Co. was a major hospitality supply firm established in Chicago during the late 19th-century. They became well know in the early 20th-century for outfitting upscale and commercial venues across the U.S.
