Bronze or Bronze plated spelter statue of an African man, possibly a slave, with cages of doves in his hands and on his back. He is walking, slightly bent over, and several birds have escaped the cages. He is on a bright brass base. The doves are white porcelain. He is wearing short trousers that are cold painted white with stripes.
Size: 15 1/4 inches tall and 6 inches at the base.

One bird has a broken wing, otherwise excellent.
