Beautiful three legged bronze urn for burning incense, with beautifully detailed dragons forming handles on its sides, and the body with fighting dragons all around, The lid has piercings for the incense to rise, and is topped by a very lively Foo dog, with erect tail, and one paw raised in combat, the other resting on a ball, possibly intended to represent the world. The urn has a perfect patina. There is a large Chinese "chop" on the underside.
Size: 14 1/4 inches tall, and 11 inches wide at the dragons.
Condition
Excellent condition. The fit of the lid is done such that there is one position in which it fits perfectly.
