Large heart shaped combat knife from the Mongo, the second largest ethnic group in the Democratic Republic of Congo. They are highly influential in its north region. These knives are also used by the Congolese Saka, and Kutu peoples (Mongo sub groups). They serve both as a battle weapon and in tribal ceremonies as a symbol of rank, they are also used as a form of currency.
Dimensions: 23" long overall, 15" blade.

Blade a little loose in grip. copper grip has some oxidation. Has some edge knicks.
