Two American made knives:
Western Cutlery fish fillet knife and leather sheath. The knife has a fine wooden handle, and long, narrow blade marked Western Cutlery, Stainless U.S.A., S-W769. It is in a sturdy brown leather sheath with safety strap. (14-inches overall with a 9.5-inch blade)
The marbles knife has an older blade, clearly stamped Marble's Gladstone Mich. U.S.A. The blade is stout and single edged, with a short clipped point. The grip is clearly a later addition, being hand made out of plain wood, with three brass rivets. It is in a sheath that was probably made at the same time as the grip, of sturdy brown leather with brass rivets and excellent stitching (8-inches long overall with a 4-inch blade).
