Four gilt framed enamel paintings of putti and children at play. Two are in matching oval gilt frames, one showing three putti playing with a head wreath and an arrow, the other showing similar three putti with a larger wreath looking down from the sky with clouds in the shape of Europe nd Africa behind them. The other two paintings are framed together in a wood and gilt frame and show the same or similar outti in two scenes: one huddled around a campfire, the other a putti sleeping while another stands guard. Size: The oval gilt framed pair are 10 inches tall and 8 1/4 inches wide. The frame with the other two is rectangular and 6 1/2 by 7 3/4 inches. Excellent.
