Pair of probably 18th century or early 19th century bifocals, as invented by Benjamin Franklin, with 800 silver frames, marked on the bridge. The lenses appear to be straight magnification. Size: 4 inches, with 5 inch ear pieces. Small wood boxed marching compass, unmarked, circa 1850. Size: 2 inches square, and 1/2 inch tall. Royal Doulton Jim Beam "George the Guard" brown whickey bottle with figure of 18th century smiling man, marked with Royal Doulton crest on the bottom. Size: 10 inches tall. Royal Doulton brown whiskey jug with ear handle and an 18th century man's head and shoulders forming the spout, and an 18th century man with a pike painted on the front. The Royal Doulton seal is visible on the base, but is partially obscured. Size: 9 inches tall. Handmade vase in blue, tan, and green, with a lizard sculpted lying on the stem with its head towards the spout. There appears to be a block letter "A" on the base. Size: 7 1/2 inches tall. Iron candlestick/ holder with 3 claw feet, apparently quite old, unmarked. Size: 3 inches tall and 4 inches wide. Cameo carved into a cowrie shell. The cameo is a classical woman, very well carved. Size: 4 inches tall by 6 inches wide. Gray glass painted vase with bee and flowers, unmarked. Size: 8 inches tall. German made covered urn with white and blue decoration showing a city on a river with a bell tower, the rest of the urn covered with blue grapes and leaves. It is marked, "Rhein" over a crown and cipher with the letters AW. Size: 8 inches tall.

Condition

All are excellent. The candlestick has a newer nut and screw holding it together.
