A twelve volume French language assorted set of Hetzel collection early 20th century Jules Verne gold gilt cover hardcovers. The Hetzel collection is notable, being that Pierre-Jules Hetzel was Verne's original publisher. These 20th Century printings are Hachette published, carrying the Hetzel name. The 20th century Hetzel bindings became famous for their highly decorated red cloth bindings with gilt pictorial designs. Some with publication dates dated and some without.  Dated volumes range from 1908 to 1926. 

'20,000 Leagues Under the Sea' is present, as well as 'Eight Hundred Leagues on the Amazon' and 'The Sea Serpent.'

Fair.  Spine covers loose as well as spine loss on the majority of the volumes. Some volumes with light joint wear and splitting. Covers remain vibrant in color and with strong gold gilt original decoration intact. Each volume is collated and complete with all illustrations and text block complete.
